Todd Grisham ended up with WWE at tonight's WWE NXT TV tapings. He is goodbye the company to take a position at ESPN.

According to sources, there had been talk backstage within WWE of Grisham exit for the last few months. His WWE responsibilities had been really scaled back over the last year or so.

Fellow announcer William Regal acknowledged through the NXT broadcast that Grisham was leaving.



"I would like to thank @todd grisham for all his assist get me through NXT.Best wishes for your new career at ESPN."

It should be noted that Grisham used to do play by play for several soccer games on FOX Sports. He had been with WWE since 2004 and hosted shows such as ECW, NXT, Byte This, Sunday Night Heat and The Bottom Line. No word yet if Grisham will at rest call Major League Soccer games.
